Tell Hunting was born and raised in the great state of Idaho. From the very begining he has been a teller of stories. His parents instilled in him a love of books and stories early on. He is even named
after a character in one of his mother’s favorite novels! He has read voraciously throughout his life, sometimes becoming so engrossed in a story that he finished it in a single sitting. Some of the books he has most enjoyed have been Dune, Ender’s Game, The Wheel of Time, The Runelords, The Lord of The Rings, and Mistborn.
In 1998 Tell began a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He counts it as one of the best times of his life.
In 2003 Tell joined the United States Army as a Chinook helicopter mechanic and flight crew member. During his ten years in the Army he spent four years in Afghanistan and Iraq. He also spent time in Germany, Kuwait, Austria, England, Cyprus, Croatia, and several other countries. In 2011 while stationed in Alabama Tell met his soon to be wife, Hannah. They were married in 2012.
